Span K (Potassium Chloride)

Span-K (Potassium Chloride) is used to help with low levels of potassium, a condition also known as hypokalemia. It can be used as a preventative, it works to increase the body`s functionality, particularly aiding heart function. It is commonly prescribed to patients who have been taking medication for another condition, where the medication has caused their levels of potassium to drop.

Dosage and AdministrationSpan-K (Potassium Chloride) tablets should be swallowed whole unless requested otherwise. Dose after a meal and wash the tablets down with a full glass of water. You may need to follow a special diet whilst on this medication to achieve the best results. Upkeep any scheduled appointments with your physician as you may require regular check ups to ensure there are no side effects.

• Leg pain or discomfort
• Weak muscles
• Numb or tingling sensations
• stomach pain, persistent diarrhoea or vomiting (severe)
• Bloody or tarry stool
• Bloody cough or vomit
